SERENDIPITY ACRES STUDIO-COLLEEN JACOB
Multi-Media Artist, Colleen J. Jacob’s background in
the arts is as varied as the many disciplines she
works in. Developed and honed over many years in
Canada, Great Britain and the United States through
training and employment in Museums, teaching,
theatre, the field of animation and freelancing; many
of these avenues of creativity continue to evolve to the
present.
An area of ongoing fascination and discovery is -
through experimentation and exploration - that of
papermaking and print-making techniques using
unusual sources of raw materials and adaption of
existing techniques; allowing for the creation of many
unique items . Diversity in other avenues such as
Certification and employment as a Nutritionist/Natural
Health Consultant have helped to provide survival
through lean times; as well as giving a balance to Life
in general. Having a studio among the trees, rocks
and wild-life of Georgian Bay and the Bruce
Peninsula; continues as a Balm for Colleen’s soul
and stimulus to her creative Spirit within.
